It is Monday night at Junior High Summer Camp and so far everything is going amazing! Today was our first full day here at Alliance Redwoods, and the kids have had an action pact day. We started at 7:15 with morning worship. After breakfast, we had our first session, and then broke up into small groups for further discussion. Tonight our speaker, Duffy Robins talk on John 1:1 and how the Word became flesh and dwelled among us. In just a few minutes the Duck Tap Comedy guys will be doing a special comedy improv hour.
Please keep up up in prayer. Pray that our energy level stays high and that the kids will grow stonger in their relationship with God. We will see all of you on Friday. We are expecting to get back between 3 and 4 that afternoon. Check back tomorrow because we should have some pictures up!
It is now Wednesday night, and we are excited to report that 5 of our students recommitted their lives to Christ! We have had an amazing week so far. We have one more full day and then we begin to pack up on Friday. Today we played on an over sized slip-in-slide, and we tried to play soccer. Needless to say, students were slipping and sliding all over the place! In the afternoon, many of our kids wient Mountain Biking, and scootering, and some hung out with me for a more restfull day by the pool! Continue to lift us up in prayer. I am teaching in the morning, and Duffy Robins will be closing out the evening. We can't wait to see you all in just 2 days.
